The homebody. We all know one. I’m a self-proclaimed homebody. I’ve tried to be better at being social, but there’s nothing quite like coming home and totally relaxing in the place you call home. I think that’s one of the reasons I like working on my apartment and turning it into a home I love. Home is where the heart is and all those other cliches.
If you know someone like that or if you are someone like that, then today’s gift guide is going to be perfect for you.
The Homebody’s Gift Guide
- Homebody by Joanna Gaines– Well, I couldn’t create a homebody gift guide and not put this book on it. I’ve been waiting for this one to come out, and you better believe I’ve asked for it for Christmas. I’m a Jojo super fan and can’t wait to get my hands on her design book that’s sure to be incredible. Who else has this on their list?
- Subscription to Netflix– Did you know you can actually buy gift cards that can be redeemed online for Netflix? How great is that! If you know a homebody, chances are they’re into some great TV shows. What better place to find them than Netflix. You could also get them an Amazon Prime subscription or a Hulu one.
- Marble Tray– Maybe the homebody you know likes to entertain others. If this is the case, then they need this super chic marble tray from Walmart. It’s only $20 and looks so nice. They’re in the Greenville Walmart, y’all!
- Faux Fur Throw– If you’re watching all that Netflix, you might as well have a cozy blanket to get under while watching. This one will look pretty, too. It’s by one of my favorite designers, Rachel Zoe.
- Capri Blue Volcano Candle– I was gifted this candle once and love the way it smells. Most of us homebodies like our homes to smell nice, but we like the candles to look pretty, too. Anthropologie gets it right every time. The mercury glass container is super pretty with just the right amount of glam.
- Bar Set– This set is so sleek and simple that it would be great for a man or woman. There are even recipes on one of the glasses for easy mixing. Such a great idea for quick references when making a drink.
- “Home” Door Mat– There’s not a more fitting gift for the homebody in your life. I love it!
- Amazon Fire Stick– Access to streaming services, fun games to play with your friends and family, and a great price. What’s not to love? Bonus: This one has an Alexa voice remote. Cool!
- 5 Second Rule– Hey, if it’s a game Ellen likes to play, then you know it’s fun. I’ve played this one a lot, and I can vouch for it. It really is a lot of fun.
- Samsung Framed TV– Okay, so this one is a splurge, but if you’ve ever had that age-old debate of TV over the fireplace or art over the fireplace, then I have the solution for you! This TV can go into “art mode” and look like you have a beautiful piece of art hanging on the wall. It also has this pretty frame around it to make it look like art. And of course, like most Samsung products, the TV mode has a crisp, clear picture, too. Carmel at Our Fifth House has a great post about hers. I think this should be our next TV when we need one. It’s awesome!
Do any of you have the framed TV? I’d love to know how you like it, and if you’re local, I kinda want to come over and see it. 🙂 Let me know in the comments.
Come back here tomorrow for some ideas on stocking stuffers! I’m keeping it pretty simple so we won’t break the bank.
