Cheers to the weekend, amiright?
I came across seven things during this week that I wanted to share with you. All can be found on Instagram. That’s my favorite social media platform and where you can find most of my happenings, so if you’re not following me there yet, I’d love to have you.
- This gorgeous apartment in Canada.
I recently discovered this Instagram account- @livingbylo Look at that apartment! Everything about it is so dreamy. I don’t have much to say about the photo. Just look at it and take it in. If I could design a dream apartment, it would look a lot like this. It’s a 500 sq. ft. studio and is perfectly designed and styled. I think you should scroll her Instagram feed and see for yourself. 2. This motivational quote.
If you’re in my Beautycounter Facebook group, then you know I post a quote or meme to start each day. Some are humorous and others are like this one. This one stuck out to me because I know how much I hold my own self back. We all have hopes and dreams and some of us dream big. However, we often let fear take over and forget that if we could muster up enough courage to take a leap of faith, we might actually succeed at something challenging, perhaps one of those big dreams. 3. This dog bed.
As a Greenvillian I do a lot of shopping at Walmart. Y’all know this because of all the earrings I buy for $4 (most of which are now $3! Yay!). I also follow their Instagram account and this came across my feed. I thought it was the most interesting and sleek dog bed. I’m not sure how comfortable it would be, but I was thinking how great it would be outside on a patio. I wouldn’t want a cushioned dog bed that lays on the ground and can’t drain water too well. This one is genius. If I had a pool at my house, this would definitely be going in my cart, pronto.
4. Better Homes and Gardens
The entire Instagram account for Better Homes and Gardens gives me so much inspiration. I feel like I double tap every picture because every picture is so likable. The wood plank ceiling of that arch, though. Wow.
5. This whole bathroom situation.
Can you even? The floor, the marble sink, the molding, the fireplace, the marble door frames, the antiquy mirrors, and the sconces. My goodness. This one was just pretty but was also quickly saved for inspiration for a future home. Photo source: @mydomaine
6. These clocks.
Obviously the first two are funny, but that third one- YES! I’m not always a late person; I’m more of a right on time person. But, y’all, that middle one makes me laugh. How many times did we all listen to that song in the early 2000s? Found these on the House Beautiful instagram account.
7. Chris Loves Julia Master Bathroom Reveal.
You guys wouldn’t believe the transformation if I told you. You don’t even get to see the insane shower in this picture. And you only get a little glimpse of the perfect wallpaper in the water closet. Seriously, it’s worth the read on their blog. Photo source: @chrislovesjulia
Now go enjoy your weekend. My anniversary is Tuesday, and I’ve got some shopping to do. I’ve already been given my present, and it is GOOD! He always wins at gifts…sigh. What are your plans today?
