Greenville is full of insatiable talent. You would never believe that most of the people on that stage came from small town Alabama.
I always enjoy when Greenville talent puts on a show for the community. I’m sure many of you have been to see Puttin’ on the Ritz over the years and seen for yourself what great performers we have here. If not, you’re seriously missing out!
Two weeks ago, local band, Two Lane Hi-Way, performed a free concert for Greenville at the Ritz Theater. The band itself is fantastic with incredibly talented guys that are the real deal. They can truly play. They were kind enough to let some other members of the community sing with them, and the show was such fun.
Here are a few pictures from the night. I’ll apologize for my photo quality. If you want to see good ones, go to Angie Long’s Facebook page. She shared some great ones that she shot on a real camera and not a phone. 🙂 Also, I forgot to take a photo of Beth Cooper, but she is in the top pic. She did a great job singing some old country classics.
I share this quick review to remind you not to discount your peers in this community. We are all so lucky to share our talents with each other, and we should definitely support one another when we do.
Who else went to this fabulous show? What was your favorite song that was performed? I’m partial to Margaritaville. 🙂 Let me know your favorites in the comments.
