While at work at Wisteria Cottage on Thursday I started looking around at all the new arrivals and quickly noticed that there were several great game day options. Now before you click away from this post- I know it’s July and several weeks away from any real game day action- remember that it’s never too soon to start putting together cute outfits for tailgating, house parties, or just wanting to show your school spirit. Happy Saturday, friends! I’m so happy for this weekend. We are getting to celebrate some friends of ours at a couple’s baby shower. They’re having a little boy, and Paul totally picked out the gift we’re giving them. It’s precious! We’ll call the gift the bonus thing I’m loving this week, but I can’t show it in case Ashley reads this post before the shower. 🙂

This week has been a bit of a whirlwind with discovering Paul had broken his leg and getting used to that new normal. He definitely has the best case scenario for a broken leg, so we’re counting our blessings there. However, there are many good things that I’ve been loving this week so let’s focus on those.

Hi, friends! Summer always puts me in a crafty mood. I’m currently trying to figure out how I can rearrange my spare bedroom by myself while Paul’s at work. Though it won’t really matter when he gets home because his leg is broken. I’ve got some brainstorming to do…

Back to the real crafting. I am such an accessories girl. Give me all the earrings, bracelets, necklaces, and rings. You name it, and I likely want it. I usually do an annual purge of my jewelry, and in my last one I decided to keep this pair of earrings even though I wasn’t wearing them.

Currently Loving- May 2019

Hi, friends! It’s the end of May! This is particularly exciting if you are a teacher or work a teacher’s schedule. That means my wake ups won’t be quite as early, and I won’t have to be in charge of twenty little people at any given time. Basically, I get to live my best life. 🙂 Technically, I’ll still have to set an alarm (trying to make exercise a real thing now that I’m almost mid-30s), and I’ll be checking in with my mama on the regular now that she’s broken her ankle and has to be off of it for most of the summer. But it isn’t lost on me how blessed I am to have the summer off and not have to go to my actual job every day. #perksofbeingateacher
