Seven on a Saturday- The Most Influential Home Decor Accounts I Follow

Happy Saturday, friends! I don’t know about you, but when someone tells me I need to follow someone on Instagram or follow their blog, I immediately take a deep dive into their account and/or their latest blog posts to see if I, in fact, would like to follow them. My wheels have really been turning in the home decor sphere of my brain, and these seven accounts are always providing the inspiration, advice, and some pretty great eye candy that I need to keep the creativity flowing. While each of these accounts deal heavily in home decor, home improvement, diy, and all other things home, some dive into fashion and lifestyle as well. This is helpful to me since those are my two most favorite fields of interest while scrolling the gram and seem to overlap in my own life. Meaning my wardrobe and my home aesthetic often resemble each other (black and white color palette, anyone?). Each photo is linked to their site or blog with a separate link in the caption for their Instagram where I highly suggest you go and hit follow.

Chris Loves Julia

This is their former home’s entryway, but since they are currently renovating their new home, this will have to do. And, honestly, how could it not? Their eye for design and ability to diy is incredible. They also have great ideas for kids’ spaces since they have three little girls. Following along with their current reno is so much fun. They also have tons of tips in their stories and lots of great videos saved on IGTV. Follow them on Instagram here.

Alaina Kaczmarski

This is not the first time I’ve mentioned Alaina on my blog. Her style is like she went inside my brain and pulled out all the ideas I have and expertly put them in her home. I just think she does no wrong. I mean, she has a disco ball, and we all know I love the sparkle. Her clean, bright, and mostly black and white aesthetic is basically all the stuff my dream home is made of. Follow her on Instagram here.

Danielle Moss

Fun fact: Danielle and Alaina (above) are co-founders of The Everygirl, and I’ve been following them for a long time. Danielle’s previous apartment gave me tons of inspiration, and now that she has this gorgeous new home and this enviable outdoor space, I’m even more on board. She also has a clean and mostly black and white color palette that I’m drawn to, and I just love everything she does in her home. Follow her on Instagram here.

Laura Ballard

Laura is a fellow Alabamian, and I knew her way back when I was in college and starting my teaching career. She has pretty recently joined the Instagram community with her life and style page, and she’s killing it. She’s got a beautiful home with the strongest art game. I’ve never been more inspired to purchase meaningful, original art, and my wheels have been turning with all the sources she shares for the art she loves. Oh, and she’s a pretty fantastic wood worker. She built the most amazing console table that looks just like it came from Pottery Barn. You have to check her out on Instagram here.

Jean Stoffer

I’m not sure how I came across Jean Stoffer, but I do remember the first time I saw this kitchen and how my jaw dropped open. First the floor, then the windows, then the sconces, then the beams, then the vaulted ceiling. It was like as my eyes went up I just couldn’t catch my breath. Everything in this kitchen is absolute perfection. Her other work is as well, and her heart is so kind. She shares lots of her projects on her feed, and each space is insanely beautiful. Follow her on Instagram here.

Like to Know It Home

Like to Know It is like an online one-stop-shop for all things fashion and home decor. If you’re a follower of many successful fashion bloggers on Instagram, you have likely heard of it. I like to follow the home account because it features new accounts all the time that I can get inspiration from. I have found lots of people to follow and seen several ideas I’ve been able to incorporate into my own home. Follow them on Instagram here.

Erin Gates

Y’all, this is just her guest room! You will love her whole home, I promise. Erin’s traditional, elegant, classy, and timeless style is utter perfection, and if you haven’t read her books Elements of Style and Elements of Family Style, well then what are you waiting for? Sometimes I open up Elements of Style to get my brain hyper-focused on the next home task I want to accomplish. I can’t say enough good things. Follow her on Instagram here.

Are you inspired? I am all over again. As I said, most of my Instagram feed is made up of home decor and fashion peppered with the occasional celebrity. These accounts definitely touch on both of those categories. Once you give them a once-over, come back and leave me a comment telling me who you’re following now. Happy scrolling!
