5 Good Things | No. 10

Well, it is my last week of summer. This is not one of my five good things. I am definitely one of those teachers that loves her summers off. And seeing as how I’ve had “off” since March, it’s going to be a hard pill to swallow to actually be dressed and at work at 7:30 on Monday morning. I do feel like I had a nice break, though. One good thing is: I’m happy to have a job. Definitely a good thing! Here’s a few more good things to share.

Ania Haie Necklace

Back in May, Jehle posted several pretty dainty necklaces on Facebook, and like the good wife I am, I slid into Paul’s DMs and suggested that he put this in the back of his mind for when he felt generous. Well, he listen and I opened this beauty on our anniversary. I’ve rarely taken it off since I’ve gotten it, and love the touch of black it has. Compliments my whole wardrobe. 🙂 I think it’s a great and affordable line of jewelry at McFerrin’s. Go let Jehle help you pick out something pretty for yourself!

Hamilton Mug and T-shirt

I’m still completely obsessed with Hamilton and have continued to watch it regularly. Paul also gifted me the coolest t-shirt (fits TTS) and the mug that makes my coffee taste better as an extra anniversary present. He got it all from Hamiltongoods.com, and there are so many cute things on the site. I think the quality of both pieces is very good, and they make me very happy.

Outlander

I’ve started and stopped the book many times. Mostly because it’s daunting. It’s so long, and the rest of them are even longer. I decided the TV show may be less daunting than the books. I finished season one this weekend, and while it went faster than the book, it was still daunting. Two words: Jack Randall. He definitely makes it daunting. I’m hooked, though. I’ll for sure be watching the remaining seasons on Netflix. Have you watched Outlander? Or read the books?

Apps

I’ve got two apps that are going to make your life easier if you’re a Wisteria Cottage and/or Beautycounter regular.
Wistera Cottage is making the transition to online only, and Lauren and Susie have given us a great app to make all of our shopping super easy! Download it for free and follow Wisteria Cottage on Instagram and Facebook so you don’t miss any new arrivals.
Beautycounter users and shoppers can now shop via the free app. It has been my favorite way to shop for myself and for my clients. I am always happy to shop for you if you’re busy or just want to delegate. Check them out in the app store.

Clear Sandals

DOLCE VITA Darla Slide Sandal, Main, color, CRYSTAL VINYL

On the World Day Against Human Trafficking (July 30), Cristin Cooper said that she was going to match and donate all commissions from that day to the fight against human trafficking. I decided I would check out her website and see if there was anything I might be interested in purchasing through her links. Well, we all know I found something and no one is surprised that it’s a pair of shoes. I’ve actually never purchased anything from Nordstrom before, but I clicked on her link for these cute clear sandals and scooped them up for about $30. They arrived in an impressive amount of time, and I’ve been loving them. They go with literally everything. I will say that they take a minute to break in, and I’ve been using the Foot Glide to keep any blisters at bay.

I hope you’ve had a great start to your week. I know a lot of you are getting ready to head back to school or send your kiddos back to school. Know that I’m praying for us as we make the transition. It’s going to be strange, but hopefully we’ll all take it one day at a time and give ourseves and our teachers and students and children and friends and strangers grace as we navigate these (yes, I’m gonna say it) unprecedented times.

Now tell me something good in the comments!
