Everyone kept saying how quickly the week had gone. Maybe it was because they got Monday off work for Columbus Day, but last week was long and tiresome for me. I did not get off work Monday and stayed late at school nearly every day. I was so happy to be able to walk out of school Friday afternoon at 3:30 and get my weekend started. I didn’t really do anything this weekend except tend to my much neglected laundry situation, but it was still nice to spend it at home. 5 Good Things | No. 15
Though this blog post is all about the good things of the week, we Normans had quite the sad one with the loss of Paul’s grandmother, Mrs. Dot. She was a classy, beautiful woman who loved to golf and amazed me at her ability to get up and move with ease well into her 80s. I want to say thank you to everyone who reached out to express their sympathy, love, and prayers. Knowing she is whole in Heaven gives us peace, but she will, of course, be missed here.
