I went to book club this week and took along a funny little Halloween themed appetizer to share with the girls.
It’s super easy and can accommodate any dip you wish to have “barfed up” by a pumpkin.
I bought a small pumpkin at Walmart, carved it the day of book club and then plated the whole thing on a big Halloween tray. Transporting it was the biggest challenge of the whole thing.
I’ve done this before and used the cold spinach dip I shared earlier this month. This time I made the hot chicken dip that I shared at the beginning of the month. Only this time I mixed in the cheese instead of adding it as the top layer since I was going to dump in all on a tray and make it look like the jack-o-lantern was puking it up.
Everyone laughed at it, and that was definitely the goal of the project. And if you take it to your Halloween party, the guests are sure to get a kick out of your festive sense of Halloween humor with this presentation.
