She turned 91 yesterday and enjoyed a delicious lunch and some time on the golf course with her boys. Then I went with some of the girls to see Aladdin, and it was great! Will Smith was a pretty fantastic Genie. Funny that most people spent their holiday out on the water or at the beach, and I spent mine in a dark theater. Ha! At least I didn’t get a sun burn.

Happy Saturday, friends! I’m so happy for this weekend. We are getting to celebrate some friends of ours at a couple’s baby shower. They’re having a little boy, and Paul totally picked out the gift we’re giving them. It’s precious! We’ll call the gift the bonus thing I’m loving this week, but I can’t show it in case Ashley reads this post before the shower. 🙂

This week has been a bit of a whirlwind with discovering Paul had broken his leg and getting used to that new normal. He definitely has the best case scenario for a broken leg, so we’re counting our blessings there. However, there are many good things that I’ve been loving this week so let’s focus on those.

Back to the real crafting. I am such an accessories girl. Give me all the earrings, bracelets, necklaces, and rings. You name it, and I likely want it. I usually do an annual purge of my jewelry, and in my last one I decided to keep this pair of earrings even though I wasn’t wearing them.
