Happy Saturday, y’all! How is it almost fall and it still feels like a million degrees outside? One thing Paul and I have both said recently (and pretty much since we’ve lived in our apartment) is that we would like to have a ceiling fan in our bedroom. We have a tower fan that works for cooling purposes, but a ceiling fan would get a tower fan off the floor and help to combat these hot summer nights.
Since I’ve never shopped for ceiling fans before, I just started googling and found several options at Home Depot. However, I’ve not been following 100 different home decor Instagram accounts without picking up on the brand, Hunter Fans. There a few of those in here, too. Scroll down to see some of the ones I’m considering. Each picture is linked for you.

Seven on a Saturday- What I’m Loving this Week
Happy Saturday! Oh my goodness am I glad to see the weekend! I don’t have to work this weekend, and I plan to take full advantage of the fact that I don’t have anything to do. Hallelujah!
I have recently rediscovered Pinterest, and I am hooked almost as badly as I was when it first hit the map. I stepped away from it for a while, but I am back and finding all sorts of inspirational things. This week there’s no rhyme or reason to the findings, just things I’m loving. Each photo is linked to its source for your convenience. Grab your coffee and scroll through seven things I found this week that you might find some inspiration from, too.

Happy Saturday, y’all! I’ve been living with the same kitchen rugs since I lived in Louisiana, and I’m ready for some new ones! These worked fine when I had my blue curtains, but now that I have the black and white buffalo check shades, I think the blue rugs needs to go. I’ve been perusing the interwebs looking for some inspiration. I think I’ve settled on a few styles that seem to suit the look I’m hoping to achieve, but I’m still looking for that “champagne taste” rug that will fit into my “beer budget”. Take a look at what I’ve rounded up today. Each photo is linked to it’s source.

Happy, happy Saturday! I’m officially two weeks into the school year, and whew, is it catching up to me. I am one tired teacher. I’m happy to be able to enjoy this weekend, though.
One of the toughest areas for me to get a set-in-stone design plan for is the master bedroom. Paul and I share common ideas about our room, but his are sometimes more on the practical side whereas I like to have practicality mixed with pretty. One thing we have both agreed on is our bed. We chose a cream colored, tufted headboard with clean lines while we were living in Louisiana, and we have been very pleased with it. Though we’re not in the market for a new one, I still look at them from time to time and dream of the next one when we finally make the switch to a king size bed. I’ve put together a list of seven headboard ideas for you to peruse with your Saturday morning coffee. Each photo is linked for your convenience.
Seven on a Saturday- Clever Doormat Ideas
Hello and happy Saturday, friends! My summer is officially over, and that means my mind is on overdrive thinking of all the other things I wish I had time to do. Like purchase a new doormat and some plants for the entrance of my apartment to make it that much happier of a place to come home to after getting back to the real world. I’m basically crying just writing those words. I don’t want summer to end! Mostly because it’s insanely too hot to start school right now but also because I’d just be a darling housewife. 🙂

Seven on a Saturday | My Current Wish List
Happy Saturday, friends! We made it another week. Whew! It’s getting tough over here. I’m exhausted from all the state testing stress and the fun wedding events we’ve had. This weekend will be a bit more restful, thank goodness. One of the curses of social media is the incessant amount of products that you’re presented with every day. I have a whole list of things that are on my radar, and I wondered if maybe some of them were on yours, too.

Hi, friends! Let’s talk guilty pleasures. I have a few…at least seven as evidenced by this blog post. Mine consist of various forms of entertainment and some snacks. I looked up the definition of a guilty pleasure and this is what Google had to say: “something, such as a movie, television program, or piece of music, that one enjoys despite feeling that it is not generally held in high regard”. Yep, that about sums it up for me. I know some of you will be saying, “Me too!” But maybe I’ll introduce you to a few new ones. For that I’m sorry and you’re welcome.
